About Best Ride Peru

Established in 2012. 100% Peruvian tour operator

Best Ride Peru (BRP) is a 100% Peruvian tour operator owned by BESTRIDE PERU SAC, represented by Teresa Navarro and Augusto Zavala. After many years backpacking through Peru and South America, across the coast, the highlands, and the jungle, we found the passion to share this part of our planet with the world.

We provide outstanding experiences for travelers who love to explore as much as we do. We take one-on-one communication seriously, and we believe every tour operator must act responsibly toward the communities and the nature that make this country what it is. Our work is guided by social responsibility and environmental awareness. Our work is guided by passion for travel, respect for nature, and a commitment to service with joy and responsibility: values that have shaped our craft since we started guiding travelers through Peru in 1999.

The founders behind Best Ride Peru have been guiding travelers through this country since 1999, long before Best Ride was born, and this is their story.

Meet the Team

Teresa Navarro

Teresa Navarro

Co-founder & Operations

A professional tour guide, Teresa leads the design and operation of BRP trips, manages reservations, and oversees the quality of every journey. Years of working overseas gave her a different perspective on Peru: one she now turns into inspiration to show her country as a truly unique destination.

Peru is one of the most diverse countries on the planet, with a rich and layered history. Teresa designs trips so travelers can feel that diversity firsthand, channeling her own travel experience into every program.

Her motto: discover the world any way you want, but always remember the world doesn't belong to us: we belong to it.

Tito (Augusto) Zavala

Co-founder & Lead Guide

A professional tour guide and naturalist with a passion for travel and a love for nature. Tito's challenge is to share the wonders of Peru so others can spread the word about this magical place. The best compliment he can get is hearing travelers talk about Peru after their trip.

Most of his time is spent leading groups through the Andes, which gives him an accurate sense of what travelers need and how to keep improving every tour. He started young, working in tourism development at Pachangara municipality in Churin, a small Andean town, where he helped build sustainable activities, sports, and a football school for local kids.

After years researching Peru's best destinations, Tito still travels constantly, often with his family alongside him.
